Privacy Statement

The short version
- We only collect what you type into our contact form, and we use it to reply to you.
- We don't use cookies, advertising trackers or marketing pixels.
- We never sell or rent your information.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time.
SiteFlo ("we", "us") is based in British Columbia, Canada. This statement explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What we collect
When you fill in our contact form, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your current website address
- The approximate number of pages on your site
- Anything you choose to tell us in the notes field
Please don't include sensitive personal details in the notes field. We don't need them to respond to you.
When you visit the site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see overall traffic, such as how many people visited, which pages they viewed and roughly where visits came from. This tool doesn't use cookies and doesn't identify you personally. We only see totals, not information about individual visitors.
When you send the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that it's being sent by a person rather than an automated spam program. It looks at technical signals from your browser, such as how the page was loaded, and doesn't use advertising cookies or show you puzzles in most cases. We only receive a pass or fail result.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Why we collect it
We use the information you send us to:
- Reply to your enquiry
- Review your current website and prepare a quote or recommendation
- Follow up about the service you asked about
We won't add you to a mailing list or use your details for unrelated marketing without asking you first. By submitting the form, you consent to us using your information for these purposes. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.
Who we share it with
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and receive enquiries:

These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When information is held in another country, it may be subject to that country's laws and could be accessed by its authorities. We choose providers with strong security practices and use them only for the purposes described here.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond to you and to follow up on your request. If you don't become a client, we delete your enquiry within 24 months. If you become a client, we keep your information for as long as we work together and as required for business and tax records.
How we protect it
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at SiteFlo who need it to respond to you, and our accounts with service providers are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it

If you're not satisfied with how we've handled your request, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement from time to time, for example if we add a new service provider. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page.
